6 Romantic poets today
So this morning while in the kitchen a curious wondering dallied within: What would Blake, Wordsworth, Coleridge, Byron, Shelley, Keats; and, oh, Clare be like today? Here are some guesses: William Blake: mystical visual poet William Wordsworth: angular nature poet S T Coleridge: philosophical beat poet Lord Byron: actively anarchistic flarf poet P B Shelley: atheistic vegetarian performance poet John Keats: formalist indeterminate poet John Clare: deranged clandestine nature poet Rho00249

AOL Pictures
will no longer be AOL Pictures by year's end, and I'd moved some already; but, because of a glitch, I moved all 51 today. This meant I had to search for duplicates since I had made 80 moves. The first one came up corrupted. It is now in the Recycle Bin. Another had been moved three times. I just love/ dull lengthy tasks, oh yah. However, it is done. Rho00248

Tao Lin Eats
might be a good name for a chain of restaurants, if Tao Lin wished to establish such; but the real questions are: What? / Where? / Why? / When? / How? and While? Rho00246

Using money rationally
Last night I said in a comment: - Down with debt addiction. Live simply. Save money. . . . In an email received today, Keith Fitz-Gerald wrote: - "In the next ten years, we will see a return of . . . · Savings and frugality · Personal responsibility: paying bills on time, not living beyond one's means · Risk management as central to investing · Stock market investing as a way to get ahead, not 'place bets' on 'lucky stocks'" Rho00244

Chicago Board Options Exchange
cboe - 2008-12-14 See this Wikipedia entry and check reference link. If you search the title of this entry, other explanatory sites will come up. As fascinating as all this is, it is really only useful for wealthy traders, people who have at least $25,000 and are able to purchase 100 to 1000 shares using options contracts. Even then the limit of what can be lost is more than the limit of what can be gained, so it was in one example anyway; but the Chicago Board Options Exchange does provide courses for beginners. Ever
is a novella written by Blake Butler with help from God in the form of an Atlanta tornado and Blake's consequent decision to return to the room he grew up in, and with help from the caring and creative Derek White, editor of Calamari Press. For my knowledge of this I am indebted to Johannes Göransson, who posted about it on his Exoskeleton blog, and Rauan Klassnik, who conducted an Ever e-mail interview of Blake Butler which he posted on his blog. Ron Silliman asked in one of his posts: What comes next? From what I have been learning recently from blog posts about works by younger authors, I think that "what comes next" is already here. What is most noticeable to me is twofold: 1) The willingness to draw from all available aesthetics. 2) The strength to allow intuition to prevail. I favor a sense of play over a sense of control, or at least space for play within a controlled universe. No One Does That is the best first place to scroll through and click around in. Both a writer of fiction and poems, Mr. Butler can be found in many locations. The Collected Poems: 1951-1971 by A. R. Ammons was or is on his wish list at Amazon. Speaking of lists, list #2 of a projected 50 lists of 50 items each. * Rho00236

Big Three opinion article
"The Big Three Need a Shakeout, Not a Bailout" by Keith Fitz-Gerald ----- Investment Director Money Morning/The Money Map Report 2008-12-09 makes sense to me, but in it is a "would not" which, as I read it, was meant to be a "would now"-- it will be obvious. Got any horses? Rho00235
